Grand County is one of the 64 counties of Colorado. As of the 2010 census, the population was 14,843. The county seat is Hot Sulphur Springs. It was named after Grand Lake and the Grand River, the original name for the upper Colorado River. A few national protected areas within the county are Rocky Mountain National Park, Continental Divide National Scenic Trail, and Never Summer Wilderness.
