Western Slope

The Colorado Western Slope includes all of the land located west of the Continental Divide within the state boundaries. While the Colorado Western Slope consists of 38% of Colorado’s total area, it only holds 10.7% of Colorado’s population. The area is well known for its fruit farming, ranching, mining, and tourism. Notable locations include Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, Grand Mesa, and Dinosaur National Monument.
